Hello and welcome, 

I’m Morgan, the founder and maker here at Covey Candle Co! I reside on So’sepe’katik/Bridgewater land with my husband, daughter and our two mini-Australian shepherds. I am a therapist by trade and hold a Master of Science in Clinical Social Work along with being fully certified in meditation teacher training – both practices that I hold very dear to my heart. When my daughter was born, I was fortunate enough to make the mutual decision with my partner to be a stay-at-home mom until she reached the age for school. While this brings me immense amounts of joy, I was missing a creative outlet that also served as a wellness practice – thus Covey Candle Co was born. While I have plans to grow in the future – I am enjoying exactly where I am in this mindful, intentional space. 

When my spare time is not soaked up in the warmth of family and friends, I can be found nestled with a steaming cup of tea while busy reading books that usually fall under the realm of “romantasy”, herbology or folklore.  I also enjoy collecting crystals, reading tarot cards and figuring out ways to make our life more sustainable – all of which have influences on my work that you can expect to see intertwined here.
